Hailing from the south side of Chicago comes a fresh sound by the name of Jennifair. Her music brings us some of the soft, soulful vibes the music industry has been missing that you can let your hair down to some of the soft, soulful vibes the music industry has been missing that you can let your hair down to and fill your soul up with. Jennifair’s musical inspirations change all the time, but listed Beyonce, Janelle Monae, Sade, Big sean, J. Cole, Anita Baker, and Jasmine Sullivan as some of her favorite muses. As someone who writes, produces, and composes her own music, she is constantly evolving with the musical inspirations she pulls from. “It’s hard to [put] my sound in a box because I mix genres together.” While listening to her music, you may hear essence of jazz, soul, pop, and alternative rock, just to name a few.
Jennifair first started making music in 2006 and started producing her own music in 2019. Dedication towards her craft and always striving to be better is what moved Jennifair to pursue and receive her associates in fine arts and music, while currently pursuing her bachelor’s in music education. But she’s no stranger to the stage. She’s won Amateur night at the Apollo in 2019, and has opened for artists such as DMC, Rah Digga, Roxanne Shante, Dougie Fresh.
Ultimately, Jennifair hopes to grow her current fan base of folks who appreciate real and raw stories. With her authenticity and delivery, Jennifair touches people from all walks of life and all ages. “I'm not into facades or trying to put on this image of being something I'm not.
